Needle Valves
NV type needle valves are used on the bypass lines of main inlet valves (MIVs) to equalize pressures upstream and downstream of the main valve. Opening and closing occur under full water flow and with maximum pressure differential. They can also be used for venting and draining, and even for sudden pressure reduction in a pipeline as a Pressure Relief Valve.
Sealing
Metal-to-metal seal, resistant to cavitation, vibrations, and mechanical damage, while maintaining tightness class "A".
Installation:
Compact connection housing (forged version) - replaces existing cast designs.
Loss Coefficient:
No flow restriction and very low losses across the valve (elbow version).
Connection Dimensions:
- Body: From DN65 to DN700
- Nominal pressure: From PN 2.5 to PN160

Full, made from a forged stainless steel rod, it can also be coated with a hard-wearing layer of chromium.

Maintenance-free, self-lubricating bearings and a double seal with leakage drainage.
